BEAUTIFUL CITY SEEKS BEAUTIFUL GIRLS
The largest heat for Miss England is opening its doors soon.  Girls (17-24) vying for a place in the Miss Manchester final can apply in person at The Birdcage, Withy Grove, next to Manchester Arndale on Saturday 14th March from 2pm-5pm. Registrations are also being taken online @ www.missmanchester.net.

Lucky applicants who make it through the selection process will need to wow model, entrepreneur and lingerie designer, Caprice who is part of the Grand Final Manchester judging this year.

40 of Manchester’s most beautiful girls will compete in a glitzy ceremony at the Palace Hotel in Manchester on 30th April to be crowned Miss Manchester 2009 and win a place in the Miss England final.
Organiser, Angela de Fouw says: “This is a hotly contested stage in the competition as the standard of beauty we’ve seen in previous years from Greater Manchester has been some of the best in the UK.”

The registration, which costs £5, could be a ticket to stardom for the winner, who will receive representation by AdF, automatic entry into Miss England, an exclusive photo shoot with top celebrity fashion photographer, Andy Lesauvage, a personal portfolio website and Unique by Caprice swimwear, to wear in the Miss England finals.

Previous Miss Manchester winners Gemma Louise Henry (05), Alanna Merchant (07) and Jessica Simpson (08) have all enjoyed success in the media spotlight. As well as modelling, Jessica is forging a promising singing and acting career. Louise Cliffe, 2006's Miss Manchester, recently starred in Hollywood 20th Century Fox and Universal films, Wrong Turn 3 and Doomsday, due for release this summer. Louise is also involved in a 'soon to be revealed' international music project, so winning Miss Manchester can be a great stepping stone.
