We had an amazing year of events over the months in 2016. From weddings to birthday celebrations to large glitzy charity balls.
Here is a highlight of a couple of fantastic events we had the pleasure of organising.
The seventh annual Crème de la Crème ball took place on Saturday 10th September 2016 within the grounds of the home of Ashley and Dawn Ward. Hundreds descended on the glitzy marquee, which was a hive on celebrity activity; with famous faces from the worlds of music, TV and sport amongst the glamorous guests.
The nights was a golden affair, themed as The Midas Touch. The Golden carpet welcomed the likes of The Real Housewives of Cheshire, Coronation Street’s Simon Gregson, as well as Danielle Lloyd, Gemma Collins and Love Islanders Scott Thomas, Kady McDermott, Katie Salmon and Rachel Fenton amongst many other familiar faces.
The spotlight was stolen by multi-platinum selling, BRIT Award winning singer songwriter Gabrielle who headlined the show, performing a series of her most popular hits including Sunshine and Dreams.
Key 103’s Darren Proctor along with TV regular Kate Thornton compered the event which raised in the region of £80,000 for Caudwell Children.
Moving onto November we moved across into Manchester as Event City became a hive of activity for sporting heroes and famous faces on the evening of Sunday 27th November, for the James Milner Foundation Ball. The venue was transformed into a world of pure imagination with guests walking through the gates of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory for the 5th annual event, organised by award winning event management company Entertainment Today.
Guests were greeted by Wonka himself along with a team of his Umpa Lumpas as they made their way up the candy lined carpet into the factory itself. A Chocolate Waterfall, enormous hanging flowers , candy trees and giant lollipops created a spectacular and surreal experience.
An a-list line up of entertainment throughout dinner included a stage show by star of ITV2’s Tricked Ben Hanlin before impressionist Darren Farley took to the stage with a hilarious sketch. The evenings auction was delivered by Johnny Gould before X Factor’s Fleur East took to the stage for an incredible set followed by chart topper Lemar.
