From Runway to Aisle..

There are some very exciting styles to come from the Bridal Fashion Week, which I’m sure will prove to be popular. Take a look at some of our favourite bridal trends this year.

Paloma Blanca

First up, capes. They are certainly a more modern and elegant take on the traditional veil, as well as a more versatile version. However, this style isn’t necessarily for the reserved bride; as they come in such a variety of ways, you can definitely make it your own.

Then there’s the suit! So Carrie Bradshaw-esque. I can barely contain my excitement for this one; and I’m so glad it’s making more of a name for itself this year. This look is certainly for the non-traditional bride, but if you did want a more feminine touch to it, a statement veil is definitely worth a thought. Often brides won’t think a veil is for them, until they try it on with their whole outfit. And as you can see from the bride pictured, the suit and veil
combination, is absolutely stunning!

Textured lace and undertones 

Grace Loves Lace has shown to be such a prominent figure in bridal trends this year, and in the wedding industry as a whole. So much so that they are talked about all over the world; which is not surprising when they have such elegance in every piece. Everything you could possibly want in a wedding dress – Romantic, Feminine and Chic.

Natural undertones in dresses are also making an appearance. Brides are choosing to ditch the traditional white or ivory, and opt for something that can be considered, more complimentary to the skin tone. Although blush has shown to be the most popular, other choices such as silvers and blues, also look incredibly flattering.
