We had the pleasure of managing the inaugural Move Mountains Ball at The Principal Hotel, on Saturday 10th of November.
The ball raised awareness and funds for two amazing charities; Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation and Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Hollyoaks’ Stephanie Waring and Kieron Richardson hosted the event, alongside Cbeebies’ Bruce Turner. Stephanie has recently became an ambassador of the Bring Hope Foundation. She shared her story of her first hand experience after visiting the refugee camps in Iraq with founder, Thomas Campbell – watch her story here.
Unfortunately, Max, a sufferer of Cystic Fibrosis, was unable to attend, due to being hospitalised earlier that week. Max was due to give a speech at the event, but instead his sister stepped in giving a beautiful speech on his behalf.
The evening began with a fantastic performance from the Manchester Rock Choir, followed by performances from Temiah, Jane Relph and Danielle Sabine; finishing off the evening with DJ Omar. The Singing Waiters also received a standing ovation, after their rendition of Por Ti Volare.
Next Year
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this year’s event!
We hope to see you again next year for an even bigger and better night at the Move Mountain’s Ball, celebrating the work of these fantastic charities. Date soon to be released.
